The CCGHD Senior Safety Program sponsored an art contest in August, 2011 for seniors to promote healthy aging and fall prevention concepts. The first place winner of the six month free membership to the Clermont YMCA was Judy Pedigo from Batavia. The second place winner of the gift cards to Clermont Senior Services and Walmart was Geraldine Stevens. The winner of the safety tote for third place was Linda Enzweiler. Art entries were judged by Theresa Herron, editor of the Community Journal Clermont, The Community Journal North, Milford-Miami Advertiser and The Bethel Journal and Kelly Clark of the Milford-Miami Public Library. Entries were judged on creativity, artistic expression, clarity of message and healthy aging message components. Congratulations to all the winners!
